We take the time to encourage and foster a community environment where everyone feels included and has their turn at being front and centre.
No, but most students do. All classes have a half yearly and end of year performance that the students work towards.
We ask that your child wears a DIS DANCE singlet, shirt or leotard to classes and black pants/shorts/tights. Optional uniform extras are also available for sale!
We proudly provide examinations for Ballet and Tap through the Australian Teachers of Dancing Syllabus in Term 3 every year. These are optional for the students to work towards.
Our standard student to teacher ratio is 15:1. That means that if there are more than 15 students in a class, a trained assistant teacher will also be in the studio. Sometimes our smaller classes will also have a trained assistant teacher, depending on the age group and style.
Although we rehearse routines to enter in the occasional eisteddfod, our focus is on performances and examinations.
You can pay your fees through the parent portal at the start of every term via Paypal or credit card OR you can let us deduct your term payment in 3 smaller payments in Week 1, 5 and 9 of term.
Students prepare to perform in our annual performance at The Lighthouse Theatre Penrith Anglican College, which is only 25 minutes drive from our Studio. It is the highlight of our calendar and we love to show you what the children have been working on.
